| Batesburg-Leesville Primary and the B-L and Twin City Rotary Clubs will present "Got Book?" on Tuesday, January 31 at 6 p.m. in the BLPS cafeteria. An art show will also be held from 5-7 p.m. and a spaghetti supper sponsored by the school's PTO will be held in the cafeteria beginning at 6:30 p.m. |

Recent ActivityAloha! I am Mrs. Ashley R. Bouknight and I teach third grade. This is my eleventh year teaching and my ninth year here at BLES. I taught third grade in Saluda the first two years of my teaching career. For the first three years here at BLES, I taught fifth grade. I graduated from Spartanburg Methodist College with an Associate of Science Degree in Biology. There, I also played volleyball and softball. Next, I graduated from Lander University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I obtained my Masters Degree from Columbia College in Divergent Learning. Also, I recently earned National Board Certification, Gifted and Talented Certification, and my Masters +30. I am married to Ty Bouknight, and we have three children. Our six-year-old son is Caden, our four-year-old daughter is Riley, and our one-year-old daughter is Chandler. We are expecting our fourth child in December. I enjoy playing volleyball, working out, and spending time with my family. My classroom has a Hawaiian theme because I want all of my students to strive to catch the big wave of being as successful as they can be. So hang on tight! Our journey is about to begin!
